Cyber Security as explained by BrainChild Branding in Fort Lauderdale, FL

It happens to the best of us. We see an email that looks, at face value, to be from someone you know. The latest one (of many) is "Hi John.
Thought you might be interested in this" and it's followed by a link that looks innocent enough.

BCB would like to suggest that you examine your emails judiciously. Hover (don't click) your cursor over the name of the sender to see who
really sent it. By hovering, you may find that it wasn't John but rather an email address you do not recognize, possibly coming from another country.

Now you know that John's email has been spoofed. John should find out about this and change his email password.

Let's talk about the link. Do not click on the link. don't click)The link could read "Pink Unicorns," but if you hovered over that, you would see that it is also a long link that looks nothing like what you would be interested in. Do not click on it. Clicking on it opens you up to the possibility of infecting your
computer with malware. This is really bad if you work in an office where you share emails to co-workers all the time. Malware is contagious.

Trash the email and double-delete it.
