About Chris Myers

So yes—this is exactly what she set out to do. Her first brand campaign was at ten years old—for a backyard carnival.

Chris Myers studied at the Ontario College of Art in Toronto—one of the top art schools in North America—and worked her way up from typographer to art director at Maclean’s Magazine (Canada’s version of Time).

From there, she built her first agency, Mars Media Communications, designing and executing everything from logo design and typography to magazine ads, large-format print, outdoor advertising, and full campaigns across a wide range of products and services.

Mars Media was one of the first six agencies in North America to combine high-end laser typesetting with Mac-based systems—creating layouts with type, images, and illustration and outputting to film in a single process—work that felt more like stepping into the next generation than refining the current one.

It set the direction for how creative and production operate today, built through a level of manual execution that makes younger creatives look at it the same way you’d look at life before a cellphone.

Chris was one of the first dozen beta testers of Photoshop, Illustrator, and QuarkXPress, and has worked across every phase of the industry: print, digital, web, and fully integrated environments where creative, technical structure, and performance operate as one continuous system.

The through-line has remained consistent: set direction, experiment with ink, varnishes, and paper, push photography, and carry that same curiosity forward into new tools, new applications, metadata, and the structural decisions that shape how a brand is experienced across every touchpoint.

BrainChild Branding has always been the core—building brands, shaping campaigns, and developing work that holds its value over time. Along the way, Chris also made time to give back what she was given. Teaching at The Miami Ad School on South Beach became a natural extension of that—sharing real-world experience with creatives at a Master's level while staying connected to how the next generation sees and approaches the work.

Her mantra: Set trends. Don’t follow them.

When she's not working, she's either writing/promoting her first novel, The Kid They'd Never Give Back... (coming soon!), hanging with horses, or at a Texas Hold'em table. Oh, and she does continue to volunteer... always.

SEO Strategist

Search Engine Optimization That Gets You Found

SEO Strategist

She works inside how people actually search—Google search behavior, browser patterns, keyword intent, and how search engines read and rank content.

Search engine optimization here is not guesswork—it’s page structure, metadata, keyword integration, internal linking, and technical SEO that positions your website where your audience is already looking.

She understands how Google sees your site, how users move through it, and how to align both so your brand shows up in the right place at the right time.

Outside of work, she’s usually out in the Gulf—tank on, moving slow, exploring underwater, and staying off the grid for a few hours.

At home, she’s running just as much—kids, partner, full schedule—and still somehow manages to keep everything balanced.
